North Texas Browncoats at the Dallas Sci-Fi Expo

Hello Browncoats!

It’s that time of year again when we start gearing up for our annual CSTS event, and this year we’re starting off with a bang! We’re thrilled to announce our first ever convention appearance next weekend, February 11th and 12th, at the Dallas Sci-Fi Expo. This particular convention is a special one for Whedon fans, featuring Firefly guests Adam Baldwin, Ron Glass, Sean Maher, and Jewel Staite, as well as Buffy/Dollhouse’s Eliza Dushku. The North Texas Browncoats will have our own booth, with t-shirts and other goodies, information on our summer event, and a special raffle item. All sales proceeds will go toward funding our 2012 Serenity screening and making this the best year yet for CSTS North Texas.

This weekend will be an excellent opportunity to come out and meet your fellow Browncoats. Wear your best costume, pick up an autograph or take a photo with your favorite media guest, and peruse the vast and glorious hoards of geekery in the exhibit hall. (Don’t forget to pick up an extra autograph to donate to this year’s raffle!) 😉 Official Pix always throws a great shindig, and we’re very excited to be a part of the show this time. Come on out and see us, we’ll be there all weekend. Don’t miss out on the chance to show your support for Equality Now and the North Texas Browncoats – we’re gonna have a great time!
